Wild Writing in Wales, April 11-14, 2026

“I sometimes forget that I was created for joy.” - Hafiz

Take time with a small group to step away from the busyness; to breathe and feel into your own aliveness; to open to deep connection with yourself and with others; and to invite this remembering: we were created for joy.

Our time together will include:

  • Wild Writing - Everyday we will circle up for this powerful, poignant writing practice. Beginners welcome! Led by Jill. For more information about Wild Writing, please click here: The Practice .

  •  Yoga and movement - Each day will hold gentle movement and/or yoga. Led by Renee.

  • Nourishing vegetarian meals.

  • Open afternoons with so many delicious options: naps, nature walks, wild swimming in the pond, stitching with Jill, small group yoga or acrobatics with Renee. Num!

  • Dance - There will be one evening of ecstatic dance!

  • Opening and Closing Circles - Rituals to help you land, ground and return.

  • Maximum number of participants: 10 plus facilitators

Join us for 3 nights in the enchanting countryside of Northern Wales.

Jill, Wild Writing Guide

Welcome! This is me (without my glasses). I’m smiling so big because this is a selfie I took to send to my children - now 22 and 24 - and I’m crazy about them!

I’m also crazy about Wild Writing. It is one of the most grounding, healing, enriching, and connecting experiences I know. I’m thrilled I get to share this practice with you, along with the heart opening somatic experience of yoga with Renee. For more information about me, please click here. xo, Jill

Renee, Movement and Yoga

This tender way of holding ourselves and each other in Wild Writing will be echoed on the mat, as Renee Jones leads us through gentle, intuitive movement. Renee will help us remember that we are also bodies…bodies that breathe, feel, bleed, and bless. Join us with your open-hearted curiosity as, together, we sink deeper into our authentic, messy, and miraculous human selves. For more goodness about Renee, please click here to be directed to her website.

Wild Writing

Every day, we will gather to listen to poetry, to ourselves, and to whatever may want to move through our pens and onto the page. We will share our writing with each other in a supportive environment, with no feedback or critique, just a warm thank you. For more information about Wild Writing, click here, or enjoy perusing this website.
